Posted Various artists

Over 75 artists were invited to take part in Posted including students, emerging artists with growing reputations, and established artists such as Bob and Roberta Smith, DJ Simpson and Sophie von Hellerman. Unless withdrawn from sale by the artist, every piece of art exhibited in the show is offered for one price of £100.

The artists were invited to send any single piece of their work, in any size or media, through the standard postal service without insurance, and with no guarantee that the work would arrive. Every piece of work safely received through the post is exhibited in the show at the Art Projects space situated on the ground floor of the London office of leading fine art insurer, Hiscox.

The exhibition opened to the public from 17 February 2005 to 8 April 2005 at Hiscox.
